Hello, and welcome to my
floral daydream!
My name is Julia and I am a mom of 3 amazing girls and we live right here in Briarcliff Manor. Before becoming a mom and a suburbanite, I lived in the city and worked in fashion.
Even back then I've been drawn to florals and how they transform any space into a living and enchanting place. One of my profound floral memories is of the floral team arriving on Thursdays to the boutique with Kraft paper packages under their arms and spending the morning dressing the boutique in the seasonal flora, whether it be blossoming branches, grasses, or evergreens. All seasons were brought indoors and transported the shop and shopper into the seasonal wonderland of colors, textures, and scents. It was magical and captivating!
Florals have the power to speak and express our deepest thoughts or moods. They are part of the most precious and priceless moments in our lives and they never fail to make us smile or bring out a deep and profound reaction.
I love getting them, giving them, and now growing them!
My home garden!
I am a sustainable and eco-friendly designer and flower grower. I grow a lot of my own flowers that are used in my designs. I do my best to only use products that do not harm our planet and environment.
It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction to be able to grow and create with whatever is in season. Watching the transformation of a single stem become something so much more in a design is truly inspirational and magical.
